Le Courtileke

The Courtileke ASBL is a group of friends full of dreams, projects and energy who have created a natural space where they practice market gardening on living soil, in the heart of Brussels. Special feature: Courtileke produces 95% of their plans and seedlings!

With a team of 2 to 4 friends, Courtileke manages to offer local and organic lovers sustainable consumption solutions directly from their 5000m2 of land reclaimed from a former meadow in Haren. Courtileke is the association of 3 partnerships:
– Les Maraîchers Urbains Extraordinaires (MUE): Training of a team of market gardeners with disabilities with CITECO
– Sème qui peut: Collective workshop of social agriculture with the asbl NOS OIGNONS
– Citizen Service: Reception of people in reconversion the Citizen Service Platform

It is also about 50 baskets per week offered during more than half of the year, 2 weekly markets and regular citizen initiatives. For us, it means plenty of reasons to discover their project and pay them a visit.
